Tomintoul Tlàth 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

Tomintoul is a relatively young distillery, founded in 1964 in Speyside, Scotland. There they produce both single malt whiskey without smoke, which is bottled under their own name, as well as smoky whiskey. However, this one is known as Old Ballantruan. The distillery is owned by Angus Dundee Distillers, which also operates the Glencadam distillery in the Highlands.

Tomintoul Tlàth matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Nose: Sweet with vanilla and toffee, citrus, malt and some fresh mint.

Taste: Mixture of sweetness and spice with honey and pepper, green apples and barley malt.
