Tomintoul Peaty Tang 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

Tomintoul is a relatively young distillery, founded in 1964 in Speyside, Scotland. There they produce both single malt whiskey without smoke, which is bottled under their own name, as well as smoky whiskey. However, this one is known as Old Ballantruan. The distillery is owned by Angus Dundee Distillers, which also operates the Glencadam distillery in the Highlands.

Tomintoul Peaty Tang matured in oak barrels for an indefinite period. Bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Floral with hints of smoke, sweetness and malt, some oak and citrus.

Taste: Nutty notes, unripe pear with citrus, some dry oak and delicate smoke.
