Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask Edition 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

By Scottish standards, the Tamnavulin Distillery, founded in 1966, is one of the younger whisky distilleries. Located in the Scottish Speyside region, Tamnavulin translates as "mill on the mountain." After several closures, the distillery resumed production after being acquired by Whyte & Mackay in 2007, and has been operating at full capacity since 2011.

Tamnavulin Red Wine Cask matured for an unspecified period in American white oak and finished in Spanish Grenache red wine casks. Bottled at a mild 40% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: Caramelized oranges and marzipan with subtle vanilla notes and accents of custard.

Taste: Red berries with subtle notes of toffee apples, peach and coffee.
