The Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 in Speyside, Scotland, and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Dailuaine, Knockando and Cardhu distilleries. Tamdhu translates as "little dark hill". The distillery's single malts, which they bottle themselves, are matured exclusively in Spanish sherry casks. Since 2013, the distillery has been owned by Ian Macleod, who also owns Glengoyne and Rosebank.

Tamdhu 12 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 43 vol. % Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff und nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Getreidebetont mit leichter Trockenheit, süßen Aromen, reifen Früchten und etwas nussige Eiche.

Geschmack: Süß mit Toffee und Vanille, Äpfel und Birnen, Zimt, Röstnoten und trockener Eichenholznote.
