The Talisker distillery was established in 1831 on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The name is derived from the Talisker House estate, located a few miles west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960 destroyed almost the entire distillery, Talisker was faithfully rebuilt a few years later. The breathtaking landscape of Skye attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom are enthusiastic about the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker Distillers Edition was first matured in oak casks and then further matured in Amoroso sherry casks. Bottled at 45.8% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: Chocolatey with hints of green and purple grapes, delicate smoke and slightly dry oak.

Taste: Mix of caramel and pepper, roasted barley malt, light dried fruits and mild peat smoke.
