The Talisker distillery was established in 1831 on the Scottish Isle of Skye. The name is derived from the Talisker House estate, located a few miles west in the mountains. After a fire in 1960 destroyed almost the entire distillery, Talisker was faithfully rebuilt a few years later. The breathtaking landscape of Skye attracts countless tourists to the distillery every year, many of whom are enthusiastic about the distillery's peppery, smoky single malt.

Talisker 30 years matured the entire time in oak barrels.
Bottled with 49.6% alcohol by volume.

Aroma: Apples, white pepper, ash, toffee, a fresh sea breeze, tropical fruits, campfire and toasted coconut

Taste: Warming smoke, chili peppers, apples, pears and spicy oak
