Speyburn 16 Years Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 1.0l, alc. 43% by volume

Brothers John and Edward Hopkins founded the Speyburn Distillery in Speyside, Scotland, in 1897. The two men had set themselves the goal of opening the distillery in the same year that Queen Victoria celebrated her 60th reign, in order to fill the first cask in the year of the anniversary. They actually made it - but without there being any windows or doors in the distillery.

Speyburn 16 Years Old matured in ex-bourbon casks the entire time. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol, not chill-filtered.

Nose: Citrus and zest, creamy vanilla, sweet pear, tropical pineapple

Taste: notes of white chocolate, honey, delicate spiciness
