Smokehead Rum Rebel 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The "Smokehead" brand single malts were penned by the independent bottler Ian MacLeod. For lovers of smoky drops, Smokehead uses single malt whiskeys from the Scottish island of Islay, which have matured and post-matured in various casks.

Smokehead Rum Rebel first matured in oak barrels for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in rum barrels. Bottled at 46 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Aroma: Grainy and sweet with sugar and vanilla, maritime peat smoke with a delicate note of herbs and tart oak.

Taste: Sweet with honey and powdered sugar, ripe lemons, maritime and fresh with a light ashy smoke.
