Nc’Nean Organic Single Malt 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The story of the Highland distillery began in 2012 when Annabel Thomas had the idea of ​​setting up a distillery that produced single malt whiskey. Since her parents purchased the Drimnin property a few years earlier, this location was a good choice. Drimnin was also the originally planned name for the distillery. Ultimately, however, Mal decided on the name Nc'Nean, which is an abbreviation of Neachneohain, a ghost queen from Gaelic legends.

Nc'Nean Organic matured for an undefined period of time in a combination of former bourbon and red wine barrels. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not cold filtered.

Aroma: Hearty barley malt with a slightly dry oak note, herbs, delicately fruity and floral.

Taste: Malty and dry with herbs, red currants, licorice and some oak, floral.
