Mortlach 21 years Special Release 2020 0.7l alc. 56.9 Vol.-%

There were once seven whiskey distilleries in the town of Dufftown. Today there are only five - Mortlach is one of them. Founded in 1823, the distillery currently belongs to one of the largest spirits companies in the world, for which blended whiskeys are mainly produced. Mortlach had a famous apprentice: William Grant apprenticed there and later founded the Glenfiddich Distillery in the same town.

Mortlach 21 years matured the entire time in former sherry casks. Bottled with a strong 56.9% vol. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Sweet and malty with pastries and cake batter, dried fruit notes, some citrus and nutty oak.

Palate: Dried apricots and figs, brown sugar and mocha, toasted grain with some chili and oak.
