Longmorn 16 years 2016 0.7l, alc. 48 Vol.-%

Longmorn is one of many whiskey distilleries established during the late 19th century boom. Unlike others, the distillery has survived closures and continues to produce single malt whiskey in large quantities near Elgin in Speyside . The distillery is in close proximity to Glen Elgin and Benriach and distils almost exclusively for the blend industry.

Longmorn 16 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 48 vol. % alcohol, not chill filtered.

Aroma: Exotic, ripe fruit notes with a distinctive sweetness, aromatic spiciness, grassy and floral with dry oak.

Taste: Sweet with toffee, mango and star fruit, light dried fruit, creamy vanilla and milk chocolate.
