Lagg Distillery on the southern tip of the picturesque Isle of Arran was completed in 2019. From day one the distillery has worked under the direction of Graham Omand to create a heavily peated, modern single malt whiskey full of character. For the inaugural releases, the team used Concerto malted barley, water from their own well and Aberdeenshire peat, giving the Lagg whiskey the perfect smooth, aromatic, woody smoke.

Lagg Kilmory Edition first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at a strong 55% vol. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Dark chocolate, berries and aromatic peat smoke, delicately sweet.

Taste: Nutty, smoky barley malt with fruit and a light herbal note.
