Kingsbarns is a fledgling distillery in the Scottish Lowlands that filled its first cask in 2015. Run by the Wemyss family, who have been working as independent bottlers for many years, the young single malt from the Scottish lowlands is enjoying growing popularity.

Kingsbarns Distillery Reserve 2021 matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and red wine casks for an undefined period. Bottled at a strong 61.8% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Baking spices and ripe citrus notes, mild sweetness with some fruit and hints of tobacco.

Taste: Ginger spiciness, some vanilla and powdered sugar, sour fruit notes, malt and delicate wood.
