Kilchoman Machir Bay Islay Single Malt 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain proportion of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malting floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman Machir Bay matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Nose: Cold peat smoke with notes of honey and citrus, herbs and thyme.

Taste: Lemons and limes, herbal honey with spicy-maritime smokiness and malt.
