Kilchoman Fino Sherry Cask Matured 2023 0.7l, alc. 50 Vol.-%

When Kilchoman distillery opened in 2005, it was the first new distillery on the Scottish island of Islay in 124 years. At Kilchoman, a relatively high value is placed on regionality and craftsmanship. A certain proportion of the barley used for production is grown near the distillery and kilned on our own malting floors. The distillery's single malts delight fans of the smoky whiskey around the world, which means that Kilchoman is gradually expanding.

Kilchoman Fino Sherry Cask Matured 2023 matured in Fino sherry casks for a minimum of 5 years. Bottled at a strong 50% ABV. Alcohol, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Dry with maritime smokiness, herbs and delicate sweetness, hints of tart grapes and some oak.

Palate: Sweet with hints of honey, caramel and candied fruit, almonds, dry herbs and earthy smokiness.
