Jura Red Wine Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Established in 1810, Jura Distillery is located in the only town on the island of the same name, Craighead. The distillery is sixty miles from the Scottish coast but despite the inaccessibility has managed to steadily increase production volumes and sell their single malt all over the world. Many visitors to the neighboring island of Islay take the opportunity to cross over to Jura during their visit.

Jura Red Wine Cask Finish first matured in former bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in red wine casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: hints of dried fruit, sweet and creamy, delicate spiciness with a touch of chocolate.

Taste: Sweet with honey and caramel, roasted malt, berries and slightly tart oak.
