Islay Mist Original Blended Scotch Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

The Islay Mist brand owes its existence to a celebration of the 21st birthday of the Laird of Islay House's son (later Lord Margadale). It was felt that for such an important celebration with guests from far and wide the famous single malt Laphroaig might be too heavy, so it was blended with selected Speyside single malts and Lowland single grains. The result proved so popular that a similar bottling was marketed off under the Islay Mist name.

Islay Mist The Original Peated Blend is the ageless entry into the brand's range and matured in oak barrels for an undefined period of time. Bottled at 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet and grainy with dried herbs, mild spices, leather and some peat smoke.

Taste: Sweetness and spice in the mix, fresh citrus fruits with maritime notes, grain and some smoke.
