Highland Park is not only one of the most northerly distilleries in Scotland, but also one of the oldest. The operators of the distillery claim that it was founded in 1798. Located in the town of Kirkwall in the Orkneys, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland that uses its own malt floors. The bottlings have nicknames reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park Harald matured in oak casks for an undefined period. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol, without dye.

Aroma: Sweet and creamy with herbal and floral notes, spicy smoke and delicate oak.

Taste: Wild honey and caramel, ripe apple fruitiness with a delicate note of spice and some peat smoke.
