Glenturret Triple Wood 0.7l, alc. 43 Vol.-%

Glenturret is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. Illicit whisky is said to have been distilled here as early as 1717. The current distillery dates back to 1775. The distillery produces both smoky and non-smoky single malt whisky and is also known worldwide as the "Home of the Famous Grouse." Glenturret is also famous for Towser, the domestic cat, who made it into the Guinness Book of Records: She reached an almost biblical age of almost 24 years and reportedly killed 28,899 mice during that time.

Glenturret Triple Wood matured for an unspecified period in ex-bourbon casks and two types of sherry casks. Bottled at 44% ABV.

Aroma: Citrus fruity with malt candy, cinnamon and peanuts, some oak.

Taste: Sweet and sour with orange and orange oil, nutty with a little coconut and spice.
