Glengoyne 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey 0.7, alc. 43% vol.

A local farmer named George Connell founded Glengoyne Distillery in 1833 in the southern Highlands. However, under the name "Burnfoot of Dumgoyne". In 1861 it was renamed the Glenguin Distillery. It was not until 1906, after it was sold to the Lang brothers, that it was given the name Glengoyne, which we know today. Most of the single malts from the distillery come with an age statement.

Glengoyne 12 Years Old matured the entire time in a combination of former bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Hearty grain, aromatic spices, clove and caramel, hints of fruit.

Taste: Spicy with pepper and nutmeg, toffee and vanilla, dry nutty notes with fresh oak.
