Glenfarclas 15 years 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay in Speyside, Scotland and was licensed to distill whiskey in 1844. In 1865 the distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants later renovated the distillery and still own it today. Glenfarclas is known for its single malts, which are matured entirely in former sherry casks. Hardly any Scottish distillery has such an extensive range of different bottlings.

Glenfarclas 15 years matured the entire time in former sherry casks. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, no coloring, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Grassy and fresh, anise and malt sugar, pear peel with slightly dry oak.

Taste: Malty with apples and pears, some orange, aromatic spices and slightly nutty oak.
