The Glenfarclas distillery was founded in 1836 by Robert Hay in Speyside, Scotland, and was licensed to distil whisky in 1844. In 1865, the distillery was sold to John Grant, whose descendants later renovated the distillery and still own it today. Glenfarclas is known for its single malts, which are matured entirely in ex-sherry casks. Hardly any other Scottish distillery has such an extensive range of different bottlings.

Glenfarclas 15 Jahre reifte die komplette Zeit in ehemaligen Sherryfässern. Abgefüllt mit 46 % vol. Alkohol, ohne Farbstoff, nicht kältefiltriert.

Aroma: Grasig und frisch, Anis und Malzzucker, Birnenschale mit leicht trockener Eiche.

Geschmack: Malzig mit Äpfeln und Birnen, etwas Orange, aromatischen Gewürzen und leicht nussiger Eiche.
