Glen Moray Cabernet Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Founded in 1897, Glen Moray Distillery is to the west of the town of Elgin. Located on the banks of the River Lossie, the origins of the building in which the distillery produces can be traced back to a brewery. Glen Moray means something like "Valley of the Settlement by the Lake". The distillery is known for its single malts, which matured and then matured in a wide variety of cask types.

Glen Moray Cabernet Cask Finish first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time. It was then matured in red wine barrels and bottled at a mild 40 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Red berries, sweet with a subtle spiciness, malt and a slightly tart note of oak.

Palate: Candied apples, honey and toffee, grainy with a touch of chocolatey oak.
