When maturing its single malts, the Dalmore Distillery, founded in 1839 directly on the banks of the Cromarty Firth, relies largely on Spanish sherry casks that had previously been filled with sherry for decades. In the characteristic bottle with the royal twelve-denter, the distillery is particularly popular in the Asian region. The distillery's oldest single malts regularly fetch large sums at auction there.

Dalmore 15 years first matured in former bourbon casks and was then matured in two types of sherry casks. Bottled at 40% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Leather and slightly chocolaty oak, spicy with raisins and delicate sweetness.

Taste: Nutty, brown sugar, fresh leather with milk chocolate and spicy oak notes.
