Not far from the Speyside Cooperage, in the small town of Craigellachie, lies the distillery of the same name, which was founded in 1891 and translates as "rocky mountain". Unusually, the Craigellachie Distillery bottles its single malts with odd age statements. The whisky produced there is also one of the main ingredients in Dewar's Blends.

Craigellachie 19 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks with a finish in ex-sherry casks. Bottled at 46% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Baked pineapple, exotic fruits, sweet pastries and a hint of smoke

Taste: Apples, pear, vanilla, cinnamon and delicate spiciness
