Balvenie 40 years 2023 0.7l, alc. 42.2 Vol.-%

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 directly next to the Glenfiddich distillery and is still in family hands today. Connoisseurs appreciate the soft single malts from the distillery, which is one of the few in Scotland that still operates its own malt floors. Balvenie also produces smoky whiskey - rather untypical for Scottish Speyside.

Balvenie 40 years matured the entire time in a combination of American and European oak barrels. Bottled at 42.2 vol. % alcohol.

Aroma: Mix of fruit sweetness and acidity with tart notes, creamy sweetness and subtle oak spice.

Taste: Floral, ripe citrus fruits with oranges and raisins, creamy sweetness with honey, pepper and wood.
