Balvenie 17 years Week of Peat 0.7l, alc. 49.4 Vol.-%

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1892 right next to the Glenfiddich distillery and is still family-run today. Connoisseurs appreciate the smooth single malts produced by the distillery, which is one of the few in Scotland to still operate its own malt floors. Balvenie also produces smoky whisky - which is rather untypical for the Scottish Speyside.

Balvenie 17 Years Week of Peat was made from barley malt, which has a smokiness of 30 ppm and matured in American oak barrels.
Bottled with a strong 49.4% alcohol by volume, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Sweet peat smoke, light floral notes and delicate butterscotch honey.

Taste: Velvety and round with a balance between peat smoke, citrus aromas, oak vanilla and blossom honey.
