Auchentoshan 12 years 0.7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

Founded in 1825 just outside Glasgow, the Auchentoshan distillery produces triple-distilled single malt whisky. While more typical in Ireland, this process is less common in Scotland. Triple distillation allows the spirit and subsequent whisky to mature very smoothly, making Auchentoshan, which translates roughly as "corner of the field," particularly popular with newcomers.

Auchentoshan 12 Year Old matured for its entire duration in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV.

Aroma: Citrus notes, nuttiness, mild spice

Flavor: Sweet vanilla, hazelnut, lime and mandarin orange
