Scapa 16 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 0,7l, alc. 40 Vol.-%

The Scapa Distillery, founded in 1885, is located in the immediate vicinity of the Highland Park distillery. By Scottish standards, the distillery produces relatively little single malt whisky, which makes bottlings from Scapa rather rare. After extensive renovations, during which production was discontinued in places or taken over by employees of the Highland Park Distillery, Scapa has been distilling continuously again since 2004.

Scapa 16 years matured the entire time in oak barrels. Bottled with a mild 40 % vol. alcohol.

Aroma: Soft and sweet with honey, light fruit notes, barley malt and slightly dry oak.

Taste: Sweet with honey and caramel, fruity with apricots, some ginger and slightly tart oak.
