Rum Nation Guatemala XO 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

Rum Nation created the Guatemala XO to mark the 20th anniversary of their company. Only the best barrels of the valuable and rare rum from Guatemala were selected. The noble drop was made from sugar cane molasses in a column still and matured for at least four years in ex-bourbon barrels made of white oak under tropical conditions near the Hondo River. The rum achieved its full-bodied aroma through sixteen months of maturation in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry barrels in the slightly cooler Italy. The limited edition comes in an elegant decanter and therefore makes a great special gift.

Aroma: complex, notes of honey, cane sugar, ripe dates, fine vanilla, dark chocolate and raisins.

Taste: Rich and full-bodied, aromas of sweet honey, shortbread, raisins, dates, dried plums and vanilla. The multifaceted notes are framed by a hint of roasted nuts and candied orange.
