The Diplomático Distillery Collection No. 1 is a very special bottling from the Venezuelan distillery, highlighting the diversity of its distillation methods. Made from fermented sugarcane honey, this rum is distilled in a batch kettle still, a process originally developed for whisky production and brought to Venezuela from Canada in 1959. The rum then ages for six years in former American white oak bourbon and Scotch whisky barrels, which imparts its complex flavors. It is bottled without additives at an alcohol content of 47.0% ABV.

Aroma: Sweet and fruity aromas of ripe tropical fruits, accompanied by notes of wild flowers and vanilla

Taste: A smooth and rounded mouthfeel with a combination of tropical fruits mixed with roasted caramel sweetness.
