The Damoiseau Rhum Vieux Agricole VSOP combines all the typical characteristics and qualities of matured rhums from the house of Damoiseau. This Rhum Agricole matures for at least four years in small oak barrels with a capacity of 180 liters. The length of the maturation allows it to be called Rhum Vieux with the addition of VSOP. In the barrels, the rhum has an alcohol content of 60 - 70%. This ensures that the wood is less attacked and more vanillin is extracted. Before bottling, the rhum is brought to a drinking strength of 42% vol.

Its intense scent is characterized by fruity aromas, fresh citrus notes, spices and pleasant roasted aromas. The lively taste of the Damoiseau VSOP is strongly influenced by the bouquet and appears harmoniously balanced on the palate. The spiciness is a little more in the foreground and is accompanied by fine pistachio aromas. Its round mouthfeel invites you to linger and enjoy.
