The Grace O'Malley whiskeys are a tribute to the Irish pirate queen Grainne Ní Mháille/Grace O'Malley. Grace (1530 – 1603) is an Irish heroine, a daring navigator and sailor turned pirate feared by the English. Inspired by her wild life and courageous character, Grace O'Malley spirits were created.
Grace O'Malley 19 years matured the entire time in ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at 45% ABV. Alcohol.
Nose: Ripe fruit notes, toasted grains with hints of coconut, caramel and dry oak.
Taste: Sweet with candied apples, malty notes, some spice and dry nutty oak, cinnamon.
