The Grace O'Malley whiskeys are a tribute to the Irish pirate queen Grainne Ní Mháille/Grace O'Malley. Grace (1530 – 1603) is an Irish heroine, a daring navigator and sailor turned pirate feared by the English. Inspired by her wild life and courageous character, Grace O'Malley spirits were created.
Grace O'Malley 18 years old first matured in ex-bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation in port wine casks. Bottled at 45% ABV. Alcohol.
Nose: Muted florals with creamy sweetness, ripe citrus, malt and nutty oak.
Taste: Ripe berries with oranges and peel, accentuated with malt and floral hints, dry wood.
