Prinz Zirberla the slightly different liqueur. Because Prinz Zirberla Liqueur is very different from the usual fruity Prinz Liqueur products.
Nevertheless, this liqueur is also an Austrian specialty that has a long tradition, especially in the mountainous regions of the Alps. The raw material of the pine liqueur grows at almost 1,800 meters above sea level: the pine cones.
The cones are the cones of the stone pine, a type of coniferous tree, and can only be harvested in a short period of time of 2 to 4 weeks.
The fresh pine cones can only be harvested by hand and are therefore not an easy base stock to obtain.
