Highland Park is not only one of Scotland's northernmost distilleries, but also one of its oldest. The distillery's operators claim it was founded as early as 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malts. The bottlings bear nicknames reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 18 years matured the entire time in former first-fill sherry casks.
Bottled at 46% vol. alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Fresh heather, peat smoke, floral notes and citrus notes.

Taste: Dark cherries, sweet cocoa, honey and smoke.
