Highland Park is not only one of Scotland's northernmost distilleries, but also one of its oldest. The distillery's operators claim it was founded as early as 1798. Located in the small town of Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands, Highland Park produces a spicy, smoky single malt and is one of the few distilleries in Scotland to use its own malts. The bottlings bear nicknames reminiscent of the Vikings.

Highland Park 14 years matured the entire time
in first fill sherry-seasoned American oak casks.
Bottled at 42.3% vol. alcohol, without coloring.

Aroma: Baked apples, roasted cinnamon notes, Madagascan vanilla and light peat smoke.

Taste: Vanilla, crème brûlée, aromas of baked apples and a hint of nutmeg.
