Ardbeg 15 Years Anthology 2025 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

The Ardbeg distillery, located in the south of the Scottish island of Islay, can now call itself one of the finest addresses for smoky single malts – after a once troubled past, including its closure. In addition to various permanently available whiskies, the distillery is known and popular for its limited-edition bottlings. This Ardbeg Single Malt Whisky is the second bottling in Ardbeg's limited-edition Anthology series.

Ardbeg 15 Year Old Anthology matured the entire time in air-dried, heavily toasted and lightly charred bourbon barrels.
Bottled at 46% alcohol by volume, without coloring and not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Pungent, oily, and spicy. Rich notes of molasses envelop creosote and smoked herbs. Roasted apples and raisins reveal a sweeter undertone.
With water, eucalyptus and menthol emerge, while fennel and pine follow.

Palate: Amazingly balanced. A sizzling mouthfeel leads to peat smoke, coffee grinds, and currants. Sweet lemon balm blends with smoked mandarin oranges, followed by a sharp, smoky spiciness.
