In 1987, John Teeling acquired a former government-owned distillery called Ceimici Teoranta Distillery, which produced potato distillates. After the renaming to Cooley Distillery, he equipped the distillery so that it can produce both single malt and single grain. With the acquisition of the old Kilbeggan Distillery, John Teeling created space to store his whiskeys produced at the Cooley Distillery.

Tyrconnell matured in ex-bourbon casks for an unspecified amount of time. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Malty and slightly sweet with green apples, delicate herbs and a hint of oak.

Palate: Malt sugar and honey, pears and apples, some orange peel, dry oak.

Connemara Original matured in oak casks for an unspecified time. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Light smoke with leather, citrus and a delicate note of herbs, grassy-fresh, malt.

Taste: Sweetness and spice mixed with herbs, earthy notes and a hint of smoke.

Kilbeggan Traditional Irish Whiskey matured in oak casks for an indefinite period. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Mild and slightly sweet, subliminal note of spices with pithy grain and delicate fruit.

Palate: Malty tartness with sweet caramel and honey, green apples and floral spiciness.

Kilbeggan Single Grain matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, Bordeaux and Madeira casks for an indefinite period of time. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Deep spiciness, covered floral with red fruit notes and hearty grain.

Taste: Tart and spicy, aniseed and some dark chocolate, dry and woody.
