The Slyrs distillery has been producing single malt whiskey since 1999. In the beginning, the Lantenhammer distillery housed the production, from 2007 in its own premises in the immediate vicinity of the Schliersee. Since the beginning of 2022, Slyrs has been an independent company, which is now known beyond the German borders with a large number of different bottlings.
The Slyrs Bairish Coffee Liqueur is the result of a cooperation between the Slyrs distillery and the Bavarian coffee roasting company Dinzler. The single malt whiskey, which has matured for 3-6 years, was enriched with mild, fruity-fresh cold brew coffee from the Ethiopian Arabica bean Sidamo. Extracts of caramel and vanilla pods provide the sweetness.
Aroma: Coffee with a light sweetness of caramel and whiskey.
Palate: Intense coffee, sweet toffee, caramel and some oak.
