One of the Christian monks from the northern Italian province of Piedmont. The monks from Piedmont were known for their creations of fine food and drink and in particular for the art of distilling. Fra' Angelico is said to have laid the foundation for our Frangelico as early as the 18th century by making it for the first time the valuable hazelnuts "Tonda Gentile". In memory of this and for the unmistakability, each bottle gets a cord around the waist, befitting its status. Legendary!
