Jörg Schäfer Adams Abbel 0.2l, alc. 21% by volume fine apple liqueur

The distillery of the Schäfer family was founded in 1869 by Michael Eckert, the great-great-grandfather of the current owner Jörg Schäfer, in Seckmauern in the Odenwald. The company is currently being run by the 5th generation of the family and can look back on 150 years of existence in 2019. The distillery mainly processes the fruit from its own and local orchard stocks. The finest drops are distilled from various apple and pear varieties, sour cherries, plums and mirabelle plums.

A very popular liqueur for years. Fully ripe apples, combined with an intensely aromatic apple brandy, form the unmistakable basis of this great liqueur.

Adam's Abbel is a reminder of the grandfather, or perhaps of the forbidden fruit from paradise.
