The origins of the Teeling Distillery can be traced back to Walter Teeling, who founded a distillery on Marrowbone Lane in 1782. This Dublin district was also called the "Golden Triangle" due to the high density of distilleries. The two sons of John Teeling founded today's Teeling Distillery in 2015, which was realized with the proceeds from the sale of the Cooley Distillery.
Teeling Small Batch first matured in ex-bourbon casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in rum casks. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, not chill-filtered.
Aroma: Grassy and fresh with a distinctive sweetness, tart grain and hints of bright citrus.
Taste: Spicy and sweetness in the mix, delicate herbal notes with dry grain and floral aromas.
