Skellig Triple Cask Single Pot Irish Whiskey 0.7l, 43% Vol.

The single pot still whiskey bottled by the Skellig Six18 Distillery was first stored in ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in PX sherry casks. There is another little twist: a small part of the whiskey was also placed in an ex-peated cask as a bonus. This gave the whiskey additional bitter, spicy notes that are barely noticeable in the taste, but contribute very positively to the overall complexity of the bottling at 43 percent ABV.

Aroma: Nut, caramel, wood, some chamomile

Taste: dried fruits, papaya, fresh jalapenos, fruity apple, some smoke
