Redbreast 15 years 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

In 1966, John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated Old Midleton Distillery) combined to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and to bundle the entire production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975 production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has now been converted into a visitor centre.

Redbreast 15 years matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 46% vol. Alcohol, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Deep fruitiness with an aromatic mix of spices and sweetness, roasted hazelnuts and dry grains.

Taste: Caramel, vanilla, some pepper and clove, ripe oranges and bananas with nutty oak, floral and spicy.
