Powers John's Lane 12 Years Irish Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 46% by volume

In 1966, John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated Old Midleton Distillery) combined to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and to bundle the entire production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975 production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has now been converted into a visitor centre.

Powers John's Lane matured the entire time in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, not cold filtered.

Aroma: Crunchy grain with a delicate sweetness, ripe citrus fruits and zest, spicy oak.

Taste: Sweet and spicy in the mix, caramel and cloves, apricots and oranges, dry grain.
