Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey 0.7l, alc. 40% by volume

In 1966, John Power & Son, John Jameson & Son and the Cork Distilleries Company (which operated Old Midleton Distillery) combined to form the Irish Distillers Group. Subsequently, it was decided to close the existing distilleries and to bundle the entire production in a new, very modern facility. This was built in Midleton. In 1975 production ended at the Old Jameson Distillery and began at the new one. The old distillery has now been converted into a visitor centre.

Green Spot matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks for an indefinite period of time. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: Emphasized grain with creamy sweetness, light spice and nutty hints.

Taste: Sweet with vanilla and toffee, some clove, hints of green apples and some oak.
