Glendalough 7 years Mizunara Cask Finish 0.7l, alc. 46 Vol.-%

Glendalough Distillery was founded in 2011 by five friends from Dublin. Various styles of Irish whiskey are produced on site in small batches. The distillery also produces gin. The labels of the bottles depict Saint Kevin who, according to legend, stood in the water for 13 days and 13 nights holding blackbird eggs in his hands until the chicks hatched. He stayed there for another 13 days until they fledged.

Glendalough Glendalough 7 Years Mizunara Finished first matured in former bourbon casks and then received a post-maturation in fresh Japanese oak casks (Mizunara). Bottled at 46% ABV. Alcohol, not chill-filtered.

Aroma: Floral with delicate fruitiness, dry oak and spices, mild sweetness, malt.

Taste: Fruity with orange and zest, some pepper and oriental spices, hints of chocolate.
