Connemara Distillers Edition Single Malt 0.7l alc. 43 Vol.-%

In 1987, John Teeling acquired a former government-owned distillery called Ceimici Teoranta Distillery, which produced potato distillates. After the renaming to Cooley Distillery, he equipped the distillery so that it can produce both single malt and single grain. With the acquisition of the old Kilbeggan Distillery, John Teeling created space to store his whiskeys produced at the Cooley Distillery.

Connemara Distillers Edition first matured in oak casks for an undefined period of time and then received a post-maturation in sherry casks. Bottled at 43% vol. Alcohol.

Aroma: Light smoke with tobacco, roasted malt and hints of dark fruit, mineral.

Taste: Spice and sweetness mixed with blackberries, mineral notes and a hint of smoke.
