In 1987, John Teeling acquired a former government-owned distillery called Ceimici Teoranta Distillery, which produced potato distillates. After the renaming to Cooley Distillery, he equipped the distillery so that it can produce both single malt and single grain. With the acquisition of the old Kilbeggan Distillery, John Teeling created space to store his whiskeys produced at the Cooley Distillery.

Connemara 12 years matured the entire time in oak barrels. Bottled at a mild 40% ABV. Alcohol.

Aroma: A hint of smoke with leather, ripe citrus fruits and a delicate herbal note, fresh grassy, ​​oak.

Taste: Fruity and sweet with pears and apples, herbs, leather and a hint of smoke.
