In Berchtesgaden, under the watchful eye of the Watzmann, lies the Grassl gentian distillery, which has been practicing the traditional craft of gentian, masterwort and juniper distilling since 1692 .

Grassl "Alte Marille" matures on the finely aromatic wood of French oak cognac barrels. This gives it an aromatic bouquet with an elegant brandy note. During the maturation period, the product takes on a beautiful amber color.
